What does Histolution do?
Histolution creates native digital histological images directly from fresh tissue — within minutes. The system provides pathologists in clinical laboratories, hospitals, and research institutions with a fast, automated, and efficient way to generate digital tissue images for direct assessment.
Is the Histolution system CE marked?
Yes. The Histolution system is CE marked under the European In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR).
How quickly are images available?
Native digital histological images can be available within minutes. The automated workflow is designed to provide digital images directly from fresh tissue with minimal hands-on processing.
How does Histolution work?
Histolution uses multiphoton imaging to create native digital histology directly from fresh tissue, without the need for physical tissue sectioning. Image acquisition and processing are integrated into an automated workflow. The histological image is generated directly in digital form and is immediately available for assessment by the pathologist on screen. The entire workflow, from placing the tissue sample into the system to the digital image, takes only a few minutes.
