Histolution is a medical device company based in Germany, transforming pathology from a tissue-preparation workflow into a digital imaging workflow.
Our technology enables direct imaging of fresh tissue, eliminating one of the largest bottlenecks in pathology and creating a faster, more scalable path to diagnostic information.
What we do
Histolution enables high-resolution imaging of fresh tissue using proprietary multiphoton technology — generating native digital tissue data within minutes, without traditional preparation steps.
By replacing labor-intensive laboratory preparation with a rapid and standardized imaging workflow, Histolution supports both intraoperative diagnostics and future routine pathology applications.
Whay it matters
Pathology is facing growing structural challenges. Rising cancer incidence is increasing diagnostic demand, while laboratories struggle with persistent shortages of trained personnel. At the same time, tissue preparation remains a slow, labor-intensive process that limits the scalability of traditional slide-based workflows.
As a result, tissue preparation has become one of the largest sources of delay, cost, and operational complexity in pathology.
Histolution is developing a digital alternative that streamlines tissue preparation, accelerates diagnostic workflows, and reduces reliance on manual laboratory processes—enabling pathology laboratories to meet growing demand with greater speed and efficiency.
